Rules & Regulations

1. The following are NOT permitted in the pool area: glass containers or alcoholic beverages.
2. Children 9 and under must be under the supervision of an adult at all times. Any child 9 and under may NOT be dropped off at the pool without the supervision of a responsible adult.
3. Smoking is NOT permitted in the pool area.
4. Roughhousing, chicken fights, throwing, pushing, dunking are not permitted.
5. Walk, do not run around the pool area, shower, or dressing areas.
6. Balls & Rafts may be used at the discretion of the Lifeguards. On crowded days, balls and rafts will be removed for the safety of all swimmers.
7. Members with open wounds, rashes or contagious diseases are not permitted in the pool.
8. Diving is ONLY permitted between the Lifeguard chairs in the deep section (9 foot) of the pool. Diving is NOT permitted in ANY other area of the pool
9. Back dives and flips are not permitted anywhere in the pool.
10. Non-swimmers or swimmers needing flotation devices are required to stay in the shallow area.
11. Flotation devices are permitted in the roped off area and shallow side of the island ONLY. Parents need to be with their children in these areas at all times.
12. One person is permitted on the water slides at any time.
13. Do not socialize around the lifeguard chair.
14. Classes, special events, and pool closing will be posted on the bulletin board and announced daily.
15. Children under the age of 5 do not receive a YMCA membership card.
16. During safety checks, members and guests must clear the pool, and move back to the grass area.
