YMCA Announces Outdoor Center Pool Closed

The West Shore YMCA closed its Outdoor Center swimming pool in 2009, due to issues related to complying with requirements set forth by the Virginia Graeme Baker Act.

After 55 years of serving the New Cumberland Community, the Board of Directors of the Harrisburg Area YMCA adopted the recommendation of the West Shore YMCA Board of Managers on February 17, 2009 to close the swimming pool at its New Cumberland location. The Outdoor Center Summer Camp remains open and the children will be transported to other swimming pools for their lessons and recreational swims.

We hope you will join us at the Borough of Lemoyne's brand new pool, it's sure to be a lot of fun.
